About Jane Harington

Born 1956 Port Stanley, Falkland Islands.

Jane spent her childhood and young adulthood in Zambia and Zimbabwe and in 1978 graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BA degree in English Literature. She pursued a successful career in marketing and advertising in Harare, Zimbabwe until relocating to England with her husband Michael in 1984.

In 1991 Jane and Michael and their 3 children immigrated to Canada. In 2004 Jane completed a BFA at the University of Saskatchewan. Jane's work is held in private collections in Canada, the United States, Britain and South Africa.
